Botanical characteristics:
Mamud is a plant in the same genus as the mango. It is a perennial plant, about 30 to 40 m tall, with a dark brown scaly bark. The shoots are cylindrical or spread into a bush with a reddish brown inner shell. When there is a wound, a cloudy white rubber will leak out.
Blade : Leaves single leaves, alternating, alternating along the branches, oval shape, parallel edge, wavy, 4-10 cm wide, 10-30 cm long Petioles 2-5.5 cm long.
Flower : into a large cluster. Each bouquet is 8-20 cm long, each with 5 small flowers, 2.5 mm wide, 6-10 mm long, with 2-4 mm oval secondary petals when blooming in pink or color. Medium orange with 5 pollen grains.
Furit : Round shape like an oval. The appearance is sparse and eccentric, 7-9 cm wide, 10-11 cm long, greenish yellow shell, thick flesh, 1 seed inside.
